This qualification is ideal for employers seeking to develop staff who are responsible for providing information, advice, or guidance as part of their core roles, or those involved in general signposting within the sector. It is particularly valuable for employees in the voluntary sector, health workers, and those in advice-giving roles who would benefit from a structured programme that reinforces best practices, provides essential knowledge, and offers formal recognition for the skills gained through experience.

Additionally, this qualification can be beneficial for staff in Further Education who support young people with career and personal choices, including teachers, lecturers, classroom and teaching support staff, and learning mentors. By investing in this qualification, employers can ensure their teams are equipped with the expertise to deliver high-quality advice and guidance while enhancing staff development and performance.
