On this 12-week course, we will cover:
- Using Excel: Develop an understanding of techniques to produce spreadsheets.
- Advanced formulae and functions: Learn how to apply these to process data and use automated tools to aid productivity.
- Big data: Explore how it is analysed and manipulated by organisations to predict patterns and trends.
- Data analysis techniques: Learn how to collect, cleanse, manipulate, and present findings.
- Spreadsheet creation: Improve productivity by creating and refining spreadsheets to enhance usability.
Entry requirements
This qualification does not have any formal entry requirements, however, learners must demonstrate the ability to study at Level 2. Prior to enrolment, learners will complete assessments in Maths, English, and IT to ensure suitability for the course. Learners must also have access to a computer with Microsoft Excel and the Internet.
Eligibility for funding
This course is fully funded for individuals who:
- Are a Greater Manchester Resident
- Aged 19+
- Earn less than £25,000
Progression
On successful completion, learners can progress to various opportunities within data management and IT fields. They may choose to pursue further study in more advanced Excel courses, data analysis, or other IT-related qualifications.
