Autocare Technician Level 2

The Level 2 Autocare Technician apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the automotive industry. This programme combines practical skills with technical knowledge, providing a comprehensive education in auto-care and vehicle maintenance.

Ideal for those who prefer hands-on learning, the apprenticeship includes both classroom instruction and real-world experience. Participants will gain expertise in vehicle inspection, component replacement, tyre repair, and customer service, preparing them for a successful career in Auto-care or "Fast-Fit" Centres, whether part of national chains or independent businesses.

On successful completion, apprentices will achieve a Autocare Technician Level 2 Apprenticeship.

What it covers:

This apprenticeship is suitable for a wide range of individuals, including school leavers, career changers, and those already working in the automotive sector who wish to formalise their skills and advance their careers.

Delivery 

Our Skills Development Tutors will visit apprentices on-site or remotely, working with them to meet employer’s specific needs and expectations. 

Entry requirements 

There are no formal entry requirements however, apprentices will need to attend an informal interview. If apprentices do not hold the relevant English and maths qualifications, they will work towards them as part of this programme.
